i used to think taiwanese people were nice...

how evil. like your english is that good. Hmmn, let us see, Taiglish? yea! i get it now. And in the first place, Singapore is multi-cultural blablabla, Singapore has many many different races okay. So, since we have so many races, then all of us speak differently and we're all influenced! yea. and i think taiwanese people are simply biased? Take this situation:

Taiwanese becomes PR in Singapore. Used to Singlish accent. Singaporean-born person accompanies Taiwanese PR to Taiwan again. Taiwanese people? Laugh at the Singaporean-born person cos he/she speaks "funny". Accepts Taiwanese PR's accent cos he/she's Taiwanese.

OH RIGHT. i get it now. You know, i don't really understand Taiglish either. And we Singaporeans are learning higher standards of English than you guys are. Example: (I have attended lessons over there, don't say i'm making it all up.)

TAIWANESE: "Friday I went to the pork." Teacher marks correct. (in case you don't know, the correct answer is "park"...)
You guys are learning "Dog don't like cat. Cat don't like mouse. Mouse like cheese. Dog chase cat. Cat eat mouse. Mouse eat cheese."
SINGAPOREANS: "The Pacific Octopus is a species of Octopod. Its incredible velocity while catching prey is one of the key factors in being one of the top predators of the fast-moving modern world." When do we learn this? Primary Five. 11 years old.

you guys learn "Dog don't like cat. Cat don't like mouse. Mouse like cheese. Dog chase cat. Cat eat mouse. Mouse eat cheese." at Primary 5. 11 years old. see the diff?

hmmn, i want to sleep. and i forgot. Let me see, i'm looking for proof of your perfect Taiglish.
